Enquiry records and uploaded documents are held with our hosting and backend service providers. Documents you upload are stored in private storage and are not published, listed publicly or made available through public or guessable links. Access is limited to authorised PlumbLedger administrators through an authenticated administration area, and tender documents are opened using controlled, time-limited file access links.
We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.
6. How long we keep information
Tender enquiries that do not proceed to an engagement may be retained for up to 12 months after our last communication with you, and may then be securely deleted.
For accepted and completed estimating engagements, we may keep relevant project and business records for a reasonable period for business administration, accounting, legal, insurance, dispute resolution and record-keeping purposes. Information may be kept longer where reasonably required by law or for legitimate business or legal purposes.
You can ask us to delete information we hold about you. Where we are not legally or reasonably required to retain it, we will action reasonable deletion requests within a reasonable time.
7. Disclosure to third parties
We may share information with service providers who support this website and our business, such as website hosting, database and file storage, and email delivery providers. These providers process information on our behalf, which may involve processing in Australia or overseas. We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law.
